Anonim Halk Edebiyatının Sorunlarına Bakış: “Çeşmenin Başına Vurmuş Kazanı” Adlı Türkü ve Varyantları Örneği
Abstract
Folk literature has an important place in terms of revealing the literary products that the Turkish people have created in a common way for centuries. This literature, which started orally, continued its existence in oral and written form with the invention of writing. The elements of literature, which reflect the Turkish spirit and are sung in the language of the people, have, of course, brought along various problems during written or oral transmission. These errors, based on many reasons, have shown their existence mostly in Anonymous folk literature in terms of taking its source from oral culture products and being conveyed from language to language and from ear to ear. The folk song, one of the most essential elements of anonymous folk literature, will guide us in this study. The issues will be examined in the special case of the folk song, which has harboured the feelings, beliefs, and situations of the Turkish people since the earliest ages; the problems of anonymous folk literature will be addressed based on a folk song example. The aim is to offer solutions to the problems in our literature and contribute by going from specific to general. Suggestions are given in the conclusion part of the study. With these suggestions, it is aimed to prevent the wrong transmission of folk songs, which are the memory of the Turkish nation, from generation to generation because every wrong transfer will take away a value from our cultural treasure. The duty of folklorists is to address these problems with a solution-oriented approach.
